Dr. Maurice
Edwards attended the University
of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he received his
graduate training. After earning his Doctorate of Dental
Medicine, he then attended the residency program in
Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgery at New York University Medical Center and
Bellevue Hospital. Since completing his training, Dr. Edwards
has worked in a multi-group practice where he has become more
proficient in the field of contemporary Oral and Maxillofacial
Surgery. During this time Dr. Edwards has guest lectured for the
third district Dental Society in Albany, the AAOMS national meeting in
New Orleans, society meetings in Manhattan, and at the International
Implant Symposium in Taipei, China. In 2001, Dr. Edwards
accomplished his goal of opening a practice of his own in the heart of
Manhattan. As a solo practitioner, Dr. Edwards continues to
build a practice based on his personal assurance that each patient is
treated with the highest level of professionalism, respect and
kindness just as he would expect for himself and his family. It
is this idea which exemplifies the mission statement of his practice
